Warranty Policy & Terms and Conditions
Please read the following Warranty Policy and Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order with Retro Auto Parts. By purchasing from us, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the terms outlined below, subject to applicable law.
1. Warranty Period
1.1 Retro Auto Parts provides a 30-day limited warranty on eligible OEM used auto parts from the date of delivery, unless otherwise specified on the product listing or invoice.
1.2 The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
1.3 The warranty covers defects in the part’s functionality that existed at the time of sale. It does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, improper installation, or damage caused by external factors.
2. Warranty Activation
2.1 The warranty period begins on the delivery date confirmed by the shipping carrier.
2.2 Proof of purchase, such as an invoice or order confirmation, is required for all warranty claims.
3. Warranty Limitations
3.1 This warranty applies only to eligible products purchased directly from Retro Auto Parts.
3.2 At our discretion, an approved warranty claim may result in a replacement part or a refund of the purchase price of the defective part. Labor costs, installation charges, towing, diagnostic fees, and other related expenses are not covered, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
3.3 The warranty may be voided if a part is:
* Improperly installed or used contrary to manufacturer specifications.
* Modified, altered, or dismantled in a manner that affects its functionality.
* Used for racing or off-road applications unless specifically listed for such use.
* Damaged through misuse, neglect, or an accident.
3.4 Electrical and electronic parts that have been installed, connected, or plugged in are not eligible for returns due to a change of mind. However, defective parts may qualify for warranty review, subject to applicable law and this policy.
3.5 Replacement parts provided under warranty do not extend or restart the original 30-day warranty period, unless required by applicable law.
4. Items Not Covered Under Warranty
The following are generally excluded from warranty coverage:
* Normal wear and tear associated with used automotive parts.
* Damage caused by overheating, lack of lubrication, or improper maintenance.
* Damage resulting from accidents, collisions, or environmental conditions.
* Parts damaged during installation or removal.
* Damage resulting from installation that does not follow applicable manufacturer specifications.
* Cosmetic imperfections that do not affect functionality and were disclosed or reasonably apparent at the time of purchase.
5. Warranty Claim Process

5.2 Please include the following information:
* Order number or proof of purchase.
* Description of the issue.
* Photos or videos showing the defect, where applicable.
* Vehicle details and part information, if relevant.
5.3 Do not return any item without prior authorization from Retro Auto Parts. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
5.4 Once a claim has been reviewed and approved, we will provide instructions for returning the part or arranging an eligible replacement or refund.
6. Returns & Refunds
6.1 Approved warranty returns must be shipped in their original condition, with all included components, unless otherwise instructed.
6.2 Return shipping costs may be the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated or required by applicable law.
6.3 Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method.
6.4 Returns or refunds for reasons other than a qualifying warranty claim are subject to the applicable return policy of Retro Auto Parts.
7. Order Cancellations
7.1 Orders may be canceled before shipment, subject to confirmation by Retro Auto Parts. Once an order has shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible.

8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 To the extent permitted by applicable law, Retro Auto Parts is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of time, loss of vehicle use, or loss of income.
8.2 To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for an approved claim will generally not exceed the purchase price paid for the affected part. This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited.
9. Disclaimer
9.1 Except for the limited warranty expressly stated in this policy, any other warranties are disclaimed to the extent permitted by applicable law. Any legally required warranties or consumer protections remain unaffected.
9.2 Certain states do not permit limitations on implied warranties or exclusions of incidental or consequential damages. Accordingly, some limitations in this policy may not apply to every customer.
10. Governing Law
This Warranty Policy and related transactions are subject to the laws applicable to Retro Auto Parts and the relevant transaction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any specific governing-law provision should reflect the business’s actual legal jurisdiction and should be confirmed before publication.
